Job description FAZMEC (Fazzini Meccanica s.n.c.) is a mechanical engineering company based in Verona, Italy. Since 1997, we are committed to developing complete and customized mechanical plants as well as special machines, providing our clients ready-to-manufacture solutions. In over 20 years, we have developed projects for many different industrial areas, gaining particular expertise in Offshore Marine Engineering. Fazzini Meccanica is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team to develop Traditional & Fully Automatic machines and improve the existing ones. The ideal candidate is one with a positive attitude to learn. At FAZMEC, we don’t believe in hiring the most knowledgeable candidate but instead a person with a good positive attitude to learn and grow. Responsibilities Act as Mechanical Design Engineer in projects. Consider customer requirements, quality, reliability targets & cost optimization. Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and materials specifications. Utilize tolerance stack-up analysis standards to analyze and refine designs. Develop bills of materials, unique product & process characteristics, DFMEA’s. Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers during prototype launch. Ensure compliance with product development timelines, risk analysis, and critical parts, up to the definition of BoMs. Qualifications Skills in stress management; problem-solving, and collaborative approach. Working experience with 3D and 2D CAD and technical calculation methods. Fluency in English or Italian or both. Strong team player with critical thinking and a “Can do” attitude. Good coordination and planning skills.
