Role overviewWe’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help transform and scale our product while delivering exceptional user experiences. With a platform built for DevOps and engineers, technical awareness is crucial. To create intuitive experiences, you’ll need to immerse yourself in the technology, learning how complex systems interact and making them more accessible through thoughtful design. In this position, you’ll :Identify new product improvement opportunities, define user problems, and develop effective solutions to address them. Continuously learn and adapt to industry standards, best practices, and the evolving landscape of developer-focused technologies to enhance design expertise. Address complex technical design challenges within the product and support the development process. Write comprehensive documents to describe the vision and implementation details. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding agilely to evolving project requirements and tight deadlines. Conduct research activities like discovery sessions and usability studies to prototype and iterate on design solutions. Develop user personas and journey maps based on research findings and data insights. Contribute to the design process and actively participate in developing and maintaining our design system. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, product, and sales teams to support the development process of bringing designs to life. Provide and seek feedback from fellow designers and cross-functional team members to foster continuous improvement. Requirements3+ years of hands-on experience in product design Ability to understand and interpret API documentation and effectively design interfaces that can interact with backend systems Comfortable working alongside developers and can articulate design concepts and decisions in a language that is clear to technical stakeholders Collaborative nature, enjoying teamwork and actively participating in collaborative ideation sessions with colleagues and partners Proven experience across all design phases, including conducting user research, creating wireframes, developing prototypes, crafting visual designs, and conducting usability testing Some experience in developing and maintaining design systems Understanding of technical capabilities, workflows, and constraints Collaborative nature, enjoying teamwork and actively participating in collaborative ideation sessions with colleagues and partners Expertise in popular design tools such as Figma (or Sketch, Adobe XD, and other design tools) Proficient in written and spoken English Portfolio Requirement :Please include a portfolio with your application, highlighting your design expertise and experience in delivering designwork for SaaS platforms, data visualization tools, or similar data-heavy applications.
