Are you a young engineer with a passion for software, embedded systems, or testing?Would you like to work in a structured, highly technological environment and contribute to the development of real-time and safety-critical solutions for the avionics sector?Then you might be the person we’re looking forTXT e-Tech, part of TXT group, is looking for Firmware Software Engineer & Tester to join its Aerospace & Defence Business Unit.Previous experience in the avionics sector is not required : we are looking for curiosity, strong technical foundations, and a desire to grow.Responsibilities Unit, integration, and verification testing in both simulated environments and on real hardware;Writing and analyzing software requirements for avionics systems;Integration with avionics communication protocols (ARINC429, AFDX, CAN bus, etc.);Architectural design of embedded and firmware solutions;Development of low-level drivers and firmware for onboard computers using low-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Ada95);Participation in hardware testing and avionics certification campaigns.Technical skills required Embedded systems and microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, Arduino, Nucleo boards);Programming in C, C++, or Ada95;University projects involving sensors, communication protocols, software testing, or PCB design.Plus Experience with real-time or safety-critical systems;Bare-metal or RTOS-based development and testing;Knowledge of communication systems (TCP / IP, UDP, FTP);Experience with file systems, custom boards, or validation tools;Basic knowledge of avionics standards and protocols: DO-178C, ARINC 429 664 Mil-3, CAN bus.The ideal candidate is proactive, with a good command of the English language.
