Your Mission As Regional Accountant you play a key role in ensuring accurate and transparent financial management for our regional operations in Italy. You oversee all management accounting activities and work with our ERP system SAP Hana to ensure reliable timely and compliant financial data. You handle accounting transactions across suppliers, banks, fixed assets, salaries and adjustment entries, including the preparation of the monthly pre‑tax financial statements. You are responsible for performing quarterly reconciliations with the statutory accounting system, which is outsourced to a Tax Advisor. Intercompany reconciliations and the preparation and submission of the monthly reporting package for the parent company are also part of your tasks. You manage local cash flow to ensure that all payments (such as intercompany payments, local suppliers, salaries, employee expense reimbursements, monthly VAT withholding taxes and other local taxes) are executed smoothly and on time. You act as the main liaison for our payroll consulting firm and work with external lawyers on debt collection topics and other business‑related matters. You coordinate all activities related to the annual audit and you oversee the daily activities of the accounting office, including supervising a part‑time team member. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Degree in accounting, preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics. Solid expertise in Italian and international accounting principles (GAAP). Good knowledge of the civil and tax aspects of Italian law. Several years of experience as an accountant in multinational contexts and in‑depth knowledge of group rules. Experienced in using ERP management systems (e.g. SAP Hana). Strong organizational skills and ability to work with discretion and integrity. Excellent Italian language skills and fluency in English.
