Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success We are looking for an Italy High Voltage System Design Engineer to join our team based in Milan. The successful candidate will learn while focusing on the following activities: Provide support during meetings with customer’s representatives at all stages of the request and the contract to ensure Prysmian compliance with customer requirements and customer satisfaction. Help the team in the definition of detailed costing of all materials and of the technical content of Prysmian submission to customers. Support for thermal/electrical/mechanical calculations for determining product and system technical proposals and ensure that all calculation and working procedures comply with the necessary technical and quality standards and procedures. Help in developing new calculation tools for determining product and system technical proposals and ensure that all calculations and working procedures comply with the necessary technical and quality standards and procedures. At contract stage, under the supervision of the Contracts Engineering Manager, provide support in the preparation of formal documentation and design information for the manufacture of cable and accessories and for cable installation activities. Cooperations with clients, civil works companies and engineering companies to carry out standard or special activities related to the design of the HV cable system. You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are Electrical (or Energy) Engineering degree, preferably with a specialization in cable transmission systems. Basic Programming skills. Knowledge of Electromagnetic design calculations. Thermal, Mechanical design calculations will be considered as a plus. Experiences in similar fields will be considered as a plus. Fluency in both Italian and English. Preferred Qualifications Good knowledge of Office package. Knowledge of Autocad. Knowledge of BIM will be considered as a plus. Availability to travel.
