Test Automation Engineer

This position will be a member of the R&D Test department. As a member of the team you will work in contact with R&D groups who develop products for the Logistics automation market sector.Role Your main activity will be to perform test activities to contribute to the product validation, and from these activities to understand how to develop test automation to allow faster and easier regression testing.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the product requirements and network interconnectivity of the products to implement test procedures for the validation of products under development or maintenanceCooperate with the project development groups to understand possible product weaknessesCorrectly use the company tools to track defects and change requestsDesign automatic test applications in both PC and embedded environmentWrite tests specifications and documentationRequirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Informatics.Languages: Italian; English fluent.Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in an R&D team.Technical CompetenciesGood Knowledge of C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principlesGood Knowledge of scripting languages (Python)Knowledge of web programming technologiesKnowledge of Windows/Linux environments (shell, bash, …)Knowledge of automatic test principlesDesiredKnowledge of IT network protocolsKnowledge of high-level Object-Oriented Programming languages like C# or JavaKnowledge of distributed applications (Docker)Basic knowledge of IoT protocols like MQTT & OPCUABasic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (ProfiNet, Ethernet-Ip, …)Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Quality AssuranceIndustries Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
