Castello di Casole, a Belmond property, is looking for a Maitre for the 2025 season.The Maitre is responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of the restaurant and room service outlets according to our standards and procedures. They maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings. They understand that tourism is about people and must relate well to guests and co‑workers.Reports to: Restaurant Manager.ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient running and profitability of restaurant and room service outlets.Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings.Align with our philosophy of creating authentic and unique experiences for guests.Accomplish restaurant human resource objectives: orient, train, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees; communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions.Ensure all service standards are met to provide the best guest experience.QualificationsFluent in Italian and English; a third language preferred (Spanish, French, or German).Professional experience of 3–4 years, preferably at international level in similar hospitality roles.Certificate as Professional Sommelier and/or gastronomy studies preferred.Evidence of self‑development through specialized courses, conferences, or workshops.BenefitsSeasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
