Your work will support scientific discoveries, enable surgeons to make critical decisions, and empower customers to build a healthier world.In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity ToExecute Sales Plans & Activities – using an agreed European Sales Methodology and in close cooperation with the sales Agents team to carry out the agreed Sales Plans & activities in the Italian territory, achieving sales and profitability targets.Forecasting – prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for sales forecasts for confocal and widefield product lines.Plan and conduct regular visits with local sales Agents to existing customers to monitor requirements, satisfaction levels, business trends and competitor activity; maintain close contact with appropriate levels of Key Accounts, investigate their business needs and serve as main contact.Plan and organize workshops at customer sites; represent Leica Microsystems at trade meetings to promote products.The Essential Requirements Of The Job IncludeStrong sales experience (minimum 4 years) in the Life Science Market.Strong communication skills and sound business acumen.Degree preferably in a Life Sciences field, or equivalent experience.Proven record of successful selling of high‑tech instruments.Fluency in Italian and English.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment RequirementsMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess Previous Experience InDriving business success through consistent and impressive sales growth over time.Strong negotiation skills and ability to build sound relationships with Key Account customers.Knowledge of purchase procedures according to Italian regulation.Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
