We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test & Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role combines electronics testing and validation activities with software development for test and automation applications. Approximately 40% of the role focuses on software-related tasks, while the remaining responsibilities involve hands‑on testing, debugging, and support of electronic products in both laboratory and production environments. The Electronics Test & Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality, reliability, and testing efficiency. This job is based in Belluno, Italy, and regular on‑site presence is required. Salary: €30,000 - €37,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Perform testing, validation, and debugging activities on electronic boards and systems.
  • Develop and maintain software applications and tools dedicated to testing and automation.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and support corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality, reliability, and testing efficiency.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of automated test environments and processes.
  • Contribute to firmware development and testing activities, including Arduino-based applications when required.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and validation records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing methodologies, automation, and product development.
  • Support production activities by investigating and resolving electronic product and testing issues.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, VB.NET, or Python.
  • Understanding of software applications used for testing and automation purposes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Nativ Italian and Intermediate English language skills (B1/B2 level) are mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in electronic board testing, debugging, validation, or verification activities.
  • Experience developing test automation solutions or supporting automated testing environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Proactive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to continuously develop technical competencies.
