Within the Group CRO function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the Group Financial & Credit Risks Unit.Key responsibilitiesMaintain and develop the methodology, tools, and documentation for the Independent Review and Verification processCapability to evaluate Alternative Assets setting up an efficient monitoring frameworkAnalyze and deep dive external fair value opinionsSetup complex financial models including cash flow analysis, debt sizing and structuringCoordinate and support the Local Units in their Independent Review local activitiesRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, or Mathematics/Physics3-6 years of work experience in the financial/insurance industryWorking experience in the analysis and/or audit of Private Debt/Equity balance sheetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insightsFluent in English and ItalianSolid and proficient use of Microsoft Office suiteNice to haveKnowledge of Insurance and Financial business processes, and industry best practices and regulatory requirements for risk management, with particular focus on Solvency II regimeCAIA certificationGood knowledge of Alternative Assets valuation methodologiesProven effectiveness in executive reporting to senior managementProject management skillsOther European foreign language, such as French or GermanSolid and proficient use of BloombergGood knowledge of one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, VBA, RSoft skillsProficiency in performing multiple tasks and dealing with dynamic deadline requirementsPerforming in stressed conditionsStructured and self-organizedProactive approach, strong achievement and result orientedHave a collaborative mind-set with strong interpersonal skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to comfortably communicate at all levels of the organizationCapable of developing independent opinion and defending their own views upon challengeCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guiding unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
