In Engineering Business Unit we are looking for a Junior SAR engineer . Main Tasks And Responsibilities Work within the ARESYS SAR Performance & Concepts team, focusing on the characteristics and potentials of novel acquisition modes. Study mono and multistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar data acquisition modes, identify and develop mathematical models for SAR performance prediction and optimization. Considering user and mission requirements as input, provide support during feasibility studies and early development phases for consolidation of the SAR system requirements and optimization of performances. Develop relevant mathematical models in high level language (Matlab/Python). Document and report the work done and participate to periodical internal and external reviews. Required Skills Basic knowledge of the Earth Observation environment and of the radar/SAR technology; Good mathematical skills; Familiar with Python and Matlab; Good english spoken and written. Your Background Degree: Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or Electronic Engineering; 1-2 years of experience in similar topics would be a benefit.
