Location 100% Remote Start Date ASAP Languages Fluent English (required) What You’ll Do Build and scale backend services using Python, Go, or Node.js Contribute to full-stack features with TypeScript + React where applicable Design APIs, real‑time pipelines, and distributed systems for production workloads Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Influence architecture, tooling, and best practices in a fast‑growing startup environment Leverage AI‑assisted development tools like Cursor to speed up workflow What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience as a backend or full‑stack engineer Strong in Python, Go, or Node.js Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) is a plus Experience in VC‑backed startups or scale‑ups Comfortable with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Strong fundamentals: distributed systems, APIs, databases Collaborative, self‑driven, and able to thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment Bonus Points Experience in fintech, payments, or AI‑assisted tooling Exposure to event‑driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) Experience contributing to developer tooling or internal frameworksInterest in using Cursor or other AI coding tools Prior scale‑up experience with high‑growth products Career Benefits High impact: Build production systems used by real customers in high‑growth startups Ownership & autonomy: Take responsibility for features end‑to‑end VC‑backed scale‑up experience: Gain exposure to rapid growth, high stakes, and technical excellence Cutting‑edge stack: Work across Python, Go, Node.js, TypeScript/React, and AI‑assisted tools Career leverage: Opportunity to grow into lead, staff, or architect‑level roles with visibility to senior leadership Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Pragmatike by 2x.
