Our mission is to unlock the potential of Generative AI by tapping into real-world expertise from across the globe.Role and ResponsibilitiesGenAI models are improving rapidly, and this role focuses on enabling them to address specialized questions and demonstrate strong reasoning. As an AI Tutor in Coding, you will collaborate on projects and typically contribute to:Analyze and investigate simulated security alerts and incidents across endpoints, identities, and cloud environmentsConduct proactive threat hunting using KQL or similar query languages to identify hidden vulnerabilities and emerging threats that automated systems may missAssess the accuracy and depth of AI-generated security incident reports and threat analysesReview, validate, and improve the model's understanding of Microsoft Defender products and SOC workflowsProvide expert feedback on AI performance in identifying and classifying cybersecurity threatsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security / Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Network or Computer Engineering, or related fields. Recognized industry certification (e.g., SC-200, AZ-500, CISSP, CEH, GCIH, CSA, CompTIA Security+) is preferredAt least 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat detectionProven background working in Security Operations Centers (SOC)Ability to investigate, triage, and respond to complex security incidents across endpoints, identities, and cloud environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Defender products and familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Elastic)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using KQL or equivalent log analysis toolsExperience in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or incident correlationAdvanced English level (C1) or aboveWillingness to learn new methods, ability to switch between tasks quickly, and work with complex guidelinesFreelance role is fully remote; you need a laptop, internet connection, time availability, and enthusiasmBenefitsGet paid for your expertise, with rates up to $35/hour depending on skills, experience, and project needsPart-time, remote freelance project that fits around your primary commitmentsWork on advanced AI projects and build valuable experienceInfluence how future AI models understand and communicate in your fieldAdditional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingGet notified about new Cyber Security Analyst jobs in Rome, Latium, Italy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
