About the Role You are the bridge between the "Desirability" of Design Thinking and the "Viability" of Business Strategy. In this Mid-Level role, you are not just a contributor; you are a key player in the engine room. You will work alongside Senior Leads to crack complex problems, but you will have the autonomy to lead specific workstreams, facilitate workshops, and own the quality of the deliverables. If you are a Service Designer who loves P&L as much as User Journeys, or a Business Analyst who thinks in blueprints, this is your home. What You’ll Bring to the Table (Core) The Hybrid Mindset: You are comfortable switching from Excel model to Miro board in the same hour. You understand that a great experience is unsustainable without a solid business model. Workshop Leadership: You can independently plan and facilitate co-design sessions with stakeholders, guiding them from chaos to clarity. Analytical Depth: You don't just collect data; you synthesize it. You can translate user research and market trends into actionable strategic insights. Visual Storytelling: You know that a strategy is only as good as its communication. You can visualize complex processes and concepts (Blueprints, Ecosystem Maps) to align cross-functional teams. Your Responsibilities Map the System: Create detailed Service Blueprints, Customer Journeys, and Ecosystem Maps that align front-stage experience with back-stage operations. Shape the Business: Develop Value Propositions and draft Business Models (BMC, Lean Canvas) to validate the viability of new concepts. Uncover Insights: Conduct desk research and support qualitative research to identify business opportunities and friction points. Facilitate Alignment: Lead workshops and sprints with clients and internal teams (Product, Tech, Design) to converge on shared solutions. Prototype & Validate: Help move concepts from "slides" to "reality" by defining experiments and validation metrics (Innovation Accounting). Essential Requirements Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Service Design, Business Design, or Innovation Consulting. Toolkit: Proficiency in Miro/Mural, Figma (for mapping/presentation), and Keynote/PowerPoint. Confidence with Excel/Google Sheets for business modeling. Methodologies: Solid grasp of Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD). Language: Fluent in English and Italian (mandatory). You can present complex ideas effectively in both languages. Nice to Have Experience in specific industries (e.g., Finance, Retail, Energy).
