Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. The role focuses on ensuring safety regulations and policies are followed, performing preventative maintenance to a high standard, and maintaining high equipment availability through continuous improvement. Shift pattern may include non-traditional hours, nights and weekends. Responsibilities Role model health & safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure compliance. Work hands-on with SME-level knowledge on all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in the building. Coach and mentor technicians on shift. Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence. Provide high levels of equipment availability by troubleshooting and prioritizing issues. Support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network. Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organization. Understand OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics. Management of contractors. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programs, NEC, and work order management Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field Experience in vendor management Experience with robotic maintenance Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards per OEM requirements Legal and Inclusion Note Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
