Role Field IT Technician with experience in IT desktop support and end‑user support at large multinational companies, to support customers on site in the Milan area. Main tasks include identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues in computer hardware and software in systems such as laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, tablets, etc.; providing general deskside support; imaging/re‑imaging PCs and laptops; coordinating with third‑party service providers for timely repair under maintenance agreements; repairing minor hardware flaws not covered by warranty; assisting with installation of peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.); cabling systems such as LAN cables, NICs, wired switches; and providing smart‑hands and eyes support led by a remote team for network devices and servers.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.Provide desktop support and imaging for PCs and laptops.Coordinate repairs with third‑party service providers under warranty agreements.Repair minor hardware flaws not covered by warranty.Assist with installation of peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).Configure cabling systems (LAN cables, NICs, wired switches).Provide smart‑hands support for network devices and servers.RequirementsMinimum 2–3 years of experience in the delivery of IT support services, ideally in the field.Diagnostic and support capabilities using standard Windows‑based applications & tools (e.g., M365, Win10, A.D & SCCM).Confidence in addressing break/fix issues – typically supporting PCs and laptops.Experience with OS, applications, and H/W installation and troubleshooting.Familiarity with a ticketing system.Good English and fluent Italian.Availability to travel in the Milan area.Valid driving licence.BenefitsBuddy program.Internal career development program.International job opportunities.Onboarding program.Staff discounts.Ticket Restaurant (Edenred, Sodexo, UP) / Meal voucher.About Hemmersbach Hemmersbach provides IT infrastructure services in more than 190 countries with 50 own subsidiaries.
