Prime Air Maintenance Technician, Amazon Prime Air

Repair Technician – Prime Air Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician who combines technical skills with a passion for maintaining machinery and aircraft. This role will conduct drone maintenance, routine service, and ensure aircraft conform to design and safe operating condition. Key Responsibilities Drive time‑based and condition‑based maintenance activities Show understanding of fleet performance metrics Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes Manage fleet spare parts and inventory Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals Basic Qualifications 1+ year of electrical or mechanical experience Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach Travel up to 25% of the time Experience installing sub‑assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Experience in the aviation industry Experience in business communication skills Experience in robotics and manufacturing engineering Other Requirements Work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Export control license may be required. DOT drug and alcohol testing may apply. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
