Why this role matters At our Innovation Center in Luxembourg, the Global Performance team shapes the next generation of Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming advanced concepts into industrialized products that meet the highest standards of performance, quality, and time-to-market. Your expertise will directly influence product competitiveness, innovation capabilities, and the continuous improvement of our development processes worldwide. What Will You Do Lead tire carcass development activities for UHP product development and industrialization, from concept to release Ensure products meet performance, quality, cost, and timing targets Contribute construction expertise to innovative technology projects, enabling new guidelines and know-how Support functional projects to improve tools, processes, and development standards Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to enhance product performance Drive continuous improvement through rigorous engineering and problem-solving approaches What You Will Bring Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent First professional experience in product and/or technology development as an asset Strong interest in the tire business or automotive industry Solid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English (French and/or German is a plus) Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and ownership High level of rigor with a strong focus on quality and results Experience or exposure to CAD/CAM tools (Catia V5 preferred), with Finite Element Modeling and statistical tools as added assets We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
