We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Job SummaryThe Application Engineer provides direct technical support to internal and external customers regarding product/application information, product selection, and special quotations. In projects related to Building Service, Industrial or Public Utilities applications or involving key customers, the engineer works closely with Sales to coordinate the activities of internal departments (Product Management, R&D, Operations) to deliver the requested documentation and ensure customer satisfaction and rapid problem solving.ResponsibilitiesProvide customers with technical support for selection of standard/customized products, showcasing extensive knowledge of the product portfolio and applications.Collaborate with Sales to understand customer needs and provide the best, profitable product solutions (standard or customized).Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Marketing, Master Planning, and Operations to define the best technical solution for the customer.Quote customized or standard products for single projects or develop offers for tenders.Cooperate with the training department and sales to support customers through visits and witness tests.Assist Sales Assistants in resolving issues related to customer product needs.Contribute new ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement.Provide technical solutions to OEM and large/international key accounts in the EMEA region.Support OEM KAMs of the Xylem Commercial team (Sales).Provide feedback to the product management team on highly requested special features.Attend exhibitions and visit customers on demand for technical support to the commercial team.Work closely with Sales on specific Industrial and/or Public Utilities projects.Collaborate on project management and cross‑boundary collaboration.Organize, prioritize, and plan tasks effectively.Communicate effectively, maintain an open mind, and foster a positive approach.Demonstrate customer orientation, inspiring accountability, problem‑solving, and conflict management.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering.Good spoken and written English and Italian (mandatory).French spoken and written is a plus.Preferred Qualifications1–2 years of experience in a related field and position.Experience in the Customer Service area (Technical Support, After Sales, Pre‑Sales) is a plus.Experience dealing with complex organizations and processes (ability to work across boundaries) is a plus.ContractPermanent, full‑timeBenefitsCompany canteen and company bonusLocationVicenza, Veneto, ItalySeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
