AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption and growth from small‑ and mid‑market accounts to enterprise customers and the public sector. Key responsibilities As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect will listen to business needs, offer guidance and best practices on how to leverage cloud technologies to solve problems, connecting technology with measurable business value and owning the overall technical relationship between AWS and customers up to C‑level. Basic Qualifications Solid experience in design, implementation, and management of complex distributed IT applications and infrastructure or database architectures Awareness of cloud computing benefits, concepts, and principles; software development tools and methodologies Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and trends and learn new skills quickly Fluency in French and English Preferred Qualifications Technical degree; Computer Science, Engineering or Math background highly desired, or equivalent work experience History of successful technical sales consulting and architecture engagements with large‑scale customers or enterprises Experience architecting, migrating or transforming customer solutions to the cloud Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, etc.), products (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.) Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or another cloud platform Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
