New Product Introduction (NPI) Senior Manufacturing Engineer (H/F) – MICROTECNICA SRL (ITALIE) AEROCONTACT invites applications for this role. Company Overview Safran is a leading high‑tech group in aerospace, space and defense. AEROCONTACT, part of the Safran family, operates worldwide. Mission The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering team working on New Product Introduction (NPI). They will collaborate with Design Engineering during the design phase, conduct cost analysis, manufacture prototypes, and industrialise processes, providing technical support to external suppliers and internal manufacturing areas. Responsibilities Interact with Design Engineering. Perform cost analysis. Industrialise new products. Qualifications As a Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer, we expect deep knowledge of manufacturing methods, especially for small and precise hydraulic components with automation in machining and assembly. Prior experience with Hydraulic Servovalves is highly preferred. Knowledge of special processes (heat and surface treatments, EDM, brazing and welding) is a plus. Fluent English is mandatory. Skills Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Self‑motivated and autonomous, yet capable of collaborating with team, shopfloors and external suppliers. Availability to travel.
