Job Summary SSI Water Srl, part of the Ingersoll Rand group, is the European branch of SSI Aeration Inc – a world leader in aeration system technology for wastewater treatment applications. The company provides highly customized and engineered packages and solutions for municipal and industrial applications. We are looking for a Project Engineer based at our Viale Certosa site in Milan (MI) with the following main responsibilities. Responsibilities Produce the engineering deliverables under your responsibility under the supervision of the Project Manager. Implement ERP. Prepare technical requisition, conduct bid technical evaluation, and follow up on vendor items under your responsibility. Review and implement client comments to obtain approval of documentation. Cooperate with the project team and other company stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of contractual requirements and resolve technical issues. Participate in project meetings/calls with the client. Travel to main suppliers and conduct site visits. Basic Qualifications Master's degree in environmental or mechanical engineering. Fluent in English and Italian. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and AutoCAD. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Approx. 90% office and smart working, 10% travel. Key Competencies Strong engineering fundamentals in processes and/or mechanical aspects (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves). Ability to interface with other departments (Procurement, Project Management, Quality) as well as customers and vendors. 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process package suppliers), Mechanical/Machinery engineer in engineering companies or EPC contractors.
