About The Job Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Mandarin Garden Department in Milan, the Runner is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests. We are dedicated to making a difference every day and continually improve to ensure we are the best. The Runner reports to the Director of Mandarin Garden. Responsibilities Transport dishes from the kitchen to the tables ensuring speed and accuracy of service. Maintain constant communication with the kitchen and colleagues in the dining room to ensure smooth and seamless service. Ensure everything is in order before service begins, from the cutlery on the table to the cleanliness of the Mandarin Garden areas. Provide an outgoing and passionate service, enthusiastic about interfacing with the guest and offering impeccable and sincere service with a smile and the right spirit of hospitality. Qualifications Self‑motivated with great communication skills, fluent in Italian and English.
