Who we are: Prysmian is aglobal cabling solutions providerleading theenergy transitionanddigital transformation .Prysmian is a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost150 years of experience , over33,000 employees ,104 plantsand27 R&D centersin over50 countries.Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: Inside our HQ Purchasing team, we are looking for a Global Senior Buyer - Raw Materials.In this role, you will:Negotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the GroupLead and support commodity-related initiatives at regional/local level, in cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, Quality, etc.)You will also:Ensure design and execution of the sourcing strategies and sourcing events in cooperation and alignment with, where appointed, Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and the other key internal stakeholdersNegotiate contracts and any other agreements with suppliers that are functional to the sourcing strategy in placeGovern the supply base and suppliers’ performance (including service level, quality, risk and compliance monitoring), ensuring the appropriate supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management practices are in place.
