Descrizione dell’offerta di lavoro As a Risk Manager of the Driver Identity Verification team, you will provide overall management for a team, direct leadership to the investigation team, oversee and develop employee performance, and drive process improvement activities. The team conducts risk reviews on drivers, validates identity, protects Amazon from account takeover, and prevents fraud. The goal is zero fraud, zero account takeovers, zero false positives, and zero scams, balancing customer experience with risk losses. Key job responsibilities Manage a team of investigators. Provide data analysis & conduct investigations (as needed). Pull data from databases (Excel, Access, SQL) and perform ad hoc reporting. Identify and minimize fraud or abuse patterns and trends. Eliminate root causes of defects to drive operational efficiency. Understand business impact of trends and make data‑driven decisions. Escalate problems or variances to relevant owners and teams. Meet critical business needs while tracking activity metrics. Create narratives for weekly findings and variances, presenting them in review forums. Develop team skill sets and expand capabilities. Maintain clear metrics on investigation volumes, performance, and decision quality. Drive operational efficiencies across all processing areas, improving customer experience. Work in rotational shifts as required. About the team Amazon’s Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that optimize the time and cost of package deliveries. The team handles billions of dollars in operations, integrates with carriers, and improves delivery experiences for millions of shoppers. Basic Qualifications Experience with MS Office, MS Excel, and data retrieval languages. Minimum 2 years of experience in identity verification / fraud detection processes. Prior experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, or distribution environments. Minimum 5 years overall experience, including 3+ years leading an operational organization globally with a team of 15+ employees. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent. Flexible to adapt to a 24 x 7 operating environment. Ability to pull data from databases (Excel, Access, SQL). Strong written and verbal communication skills, both remote and face‑to‑face. Evidence of success in operational management, enhancement, and change. Coaching and leadership skills, including succession planning. 3+ years of people and performance management experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Lean and Six Sigma. Data management & quality control experience with large data sets. Knowledge of using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement. Experience building QuickSuite dashboards.
