Whether you’re helping manage spacecraft operations, analysing mission data, or supporting software and systems development, your expertise will help move Europe’s space ambitions forward.Why Join Serco?Work in an international and diverse team environment, surrounded by top-tier scientists, engineers, and technical experts.Access continuous professional development and training opportunities tailored to the space sector.Be part of a company that values work-life balance, mutual respect, and a commitment to excellence.Gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, innovative projects, and mission-critical systems in collaboration with major space agencies.As Software Engineer You Will Be Responsible ForManaging and coordinating integration activities for Third Party Services, ensuring smooth and effective integration into our platform with the focus on the Identity and Access Management Service (Keycloak) and the Accounting component.Acting as a primary point of contact for external companies during the integration process, addressing their queries and providing necessary support.Facilitating engagement meetings with new partners and stakeholders to foster strong collaborative relationships.Supporting the integration of new services into our platform, acting as a technical facilitator between external companies and internal development teams.Supporting corrective and evolutive maintenance activities related to Authentication and Authorization topics, assisting the follow-up of technical teams, performing troubleshooting, and solving problems handling technical analysis.Your SkillsA Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Technical Sciences or equivalent is required.2/3 years of working experience in relevant aspects.Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization standard protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).Knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts.Knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating System environment, and scripting.Knowledge of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).English Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), written and spoken.DesirableExperience in Keycloak usage, configuration and customization.Experience in Keycloak Authorization Services (User Managed Access).Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python).Experience with containerized applications (e.g., Docker).Knowledge of containers orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).Experience with Cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment.Ability to read/contribute to technical documentation (e.g., Procedures, Technical Notes, Interface Control Documents, System Design Documents).Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats.Knowledge of Destination Earth (DestinE) programme.Critical thinking and self-organization skills.About SercoSerco is a leading Space Services Provider with thousands of skilled resources that has supported over 50 space missions for more than 10 Space or Government agencies around the globe, including ESA, CNES, EUMETSAT, EUSPA, ASI and NASA.
