Job Title: PV Electrical Engineer Location: Milan (Hybrid) Salary: €60,000 DOE Piper Maddox have just started working with a leading renewable energy IPP with a very unique pipeline of projects across Italy. Due to an increased volume of projects and excellent financial backing, they are looking to grow the team. My client is seeking a Photovoltaic Electrical Engineer to join their Technical Department, supporting the full lifecycle of cutting‑edge PV projects. You’ll work across design, engineering, technical validation and performance optimisation, ensuring projects meet technical, commercial and regulatory requirements. The Role Deliver preliminary, detailed and construction‑level electrical designs for PV plants (LV / MV / HV). Prepare technical specifications, validate supplier offers and support construction teams. Lead functional and performance testing and support grid connection activities. Collaborate with Sales, Asset Management and Procurement on feasibility, optimisation and supplier evaluations. Ensure compliance with electrical standards, regulations and best practice. About You Degree in Electrical Engineering. 3+ years’ experience designing complex electrical systems, ideally including photovoltaic plants. Strong understanding of electrical regulations, PV technologies and industry standards. Skilled user of CAD, PVsyst, Ampere and Excel.
