We are looking for an Operations Project Manager to join our Corporate office in Uboldo (VA).

The role reports to the Head of Operations Project Manager

Location: Uboldo (VA)

Mission

The Operations Project Manager ensures that internal strategic operations projects and high-value client contracts are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The PM owns projects end-to-end, from concept through commissioning, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders while safeguarding safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project charters, scopes of work, and execution plans defining goals, deliverables, timelines, resource needs, and success metrics.
  • Build detailed schedules, track milestones, and identify/mitigate risks across complex, multi-phase projects, including equipment installations, facility expansions, production line modifications, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams towards goals and milestones.
  • Set and control budgets, perform cost estimates, monitor expenditures, manage cash flow, and ensure compliance with financial targets.
  • Serve as the primary link between executive leadership, plant management, engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and customers, providing regular status updates and reporting to the steering committee.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards; implement quality control measures; resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee contractor performance against scope, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Lead lessons-learned sessions, document findings, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Operations in manufacturing field, at least 5 years
  • Proficiency with project management tools, critical path methodology, ERP systems, and industry-specific software.
  • Solid understanding of industrial operations, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management or Project Management; PMP or equivalent certifications are a plus.
  • Italian mother tongue or C2 level and fluent English.

The indicative gross annual salary (GAS) for this position ranges between € 50.000 and 60.000 depending on the candidate's experience and seniority level.
