The Capacity Planning Team provides Amazon Operations with cost‑optimal and flexible capacity solutions for operational activities year‑round, enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of our corporate office. You will start your day by reviewing performance metrics and analyzing any execution gaps from previous plans using these insights to refine future forecasts. Throughout the day you’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align on resource requirements and implementation strategies. You will spend time diving deep into data analysis using tools like SQL and Excel to extract meaningful patterns and trends that inform your planning decisions. Regular stakeholder meetings will be part of your routine, where you’ll present your findings and recommendations to key business partners. Your role will also involve continuously monitoring planning accuracy, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to enhance the planning process.
