The KION Group is on its way to becoming the only true global player and market leader in the field of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions and products. Due to expansion of the Intralogistics team, we are currently looking for a Solution Designer Automation to join our team.The primary focus of this role is to identify all technical elements in the offer.He / She focuses on interfaces between technical discipline, internal and external partners, ensuring that the project scope is well specified and achieved. The Solution Designer Auto-ILS is responsible for all technical aspects in the sales phase : technical clarification, best technical automation concept, corresponding cost price calculation, project schedule.Role Purpose :Analysis and assessment of customer requests on (technical) feasibility and potential solutionsSpecification, monitoring and documentation of material flow simulations for intralogistics systemsAnalysis of simulation data, optimization and consultingTranslate customers request into a smart, intelligent, creative and value adding system designCoordinate and structure data & information flow, necessary to offer the solutionDefine the corresponding cost price calculation and deliver input for the quotationGuide and coordinate the sales engineering & design process during the overall sales cycleSupport the Sales Manager during customer meetings and presentationsSupport correct and timely order entry and project handover in case of orderEnsuring that technical subcontract specification and technical liaison are completedSupport of the Sales Manager in the preparation of Go / No Go, Bid / No Bid, Final Offer Release decisions, T&C's, Contract Management etc.Tasks and Qualifications :Who Are We Looking For :Previous experience in the role or similarKnowledge of CAD / technical drawingsIT Literate – MS OfficeConfident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)Good understanding of typical capital investment topics, such as identifying business cases and ROI.Analytical and problem-solving skills are among your strengthsYou are able to plan, organize and document multiple project activitiesAdvanced knowledge in written and spoken EnglishAvailability for travel in Italy up to 50% of time#J-18808-Ljbffr
