Senior Delivery Consultant - Application Modernization, AWS Professional ServicesJob ID: | Amazon Web Services, Inc.The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Sr. Delivery Consultant – Application Modernization, to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You’ll be a key leader in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.As a Sr. Delivery Consultant – Application Modernization, you will lead the architecture of complex, scalable, secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current applications, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors, you will provide guidance on emerging technologies and innovative solutions, leading implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud.Key Job ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.Lead high‑performing consulting teams or serve as a tech lead.Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years experience leading application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with AI and automation.5+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.Preferred QualificationsAWS experience proficient in a wide range of services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred.Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR).Experience leading large-scale modernization initiatives with deep expertise in multiple programming languages and generative AI tools.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
