Backend Developer (Node.js & TypeScript)Step into a pivotal role at a transformative moment. As a Backend Developer, you’ll be an integral member of our team from day one. Your contributions will shape the architecture, performance, and scalability of our platform, designed to redefine its field. This is your chance to make foundational decisions, implement robust systems, and directly impact a product’s evolution.What You Will Be Working OnBackend Development: Design, implement, and optimize high-performance backend services that power our AI-driven platform.Scaling & Performance: Build and maintain systems optimized for high availability, scalability, and efficiency, capable of handling large datasets and complex workflows.Infrastructure Management: Architect and manage a reliable infrastructure using AWS services (ECS, RDS), Docker, and other cloud tools.Data & Storage: Work with relational and analytical databases such as Aurora and ClickHouse, ensuring fast queries and consistent performance.System Monitoring & Reliability: Leverage Datadog and CloudWatch to monitor infrastructure health, detect bottlenecks, and enhance reliability.Core Technologies: Work with TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, ClickHouse, and Express to build scalable and maintainable systems.Best Practices: Uphold coding standards, maintain comprehensive documentation, and implement workflows that support long-term technical excellence.Complex Challenges You’ll TackleDesigning resilient and scalable backend systems that support multimodal AI workflows.Managing infrastructure growth and optimizing performance for large-scale data processing.Collaborating across teams to make impactful architectural and technical decisions.Balancing cost-efficiency with high-performance requirements in production systems.You May Be a Good Fit If You AreExperienced & Versatile: You have 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong background in building distributed, high-performance systems.Proficient in Modern Backend Technologies: Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as Express or Fastify, with a strong grasp of asynchronous programming and API design.Autonomous & Impact-Driven: You thrive in a hands‑on environment that values ownership, accountability, and independence.Performance-Oriented: You’re passionate about optimizing code, reducing latency, and ensuring system efficiency.Collaborative & Communicative: You work effectively within small teams and can collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Curious & Adaptable: You stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and enjoy solving new types of problems.Bonus PointsExperience in a startup or early‑stage environment, particularly as a founder or core contributor.Familiarity with machine learning (ML) or AI systems, especially data‑intensive or inference‑heavy applications.Knowledge of SDK design or developer experience (DX) principles.You’ll join our core team in a collaborative, hands‑on environment.
