OverviewShareholders Unit Specialist - Fixed Term Contract — Rome, Italy. The role sits within the Corporate Affairs function and supports the Head of Corporate Governance & Shareholders. The position focuses on organizing the Annual General Meetings (AGMs), updating the Shareholders Registry, and managing relationships with retail shareholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging direct and indirect engagement activities with shareholdersOrganizing engagement activities and events as part of the shareholder engagement campaign, fostering relations with shareholdersSupporting the Shareholders’ Club project and launching events within its frameworkSupporting all analysis activities regarding the company’s shareholders baseSupporting market practice analysis related to shareholders and corporate governance practicesLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the shareholder engagement campaignUpdating the Shareholders Registry and maintaining the relationship with the network of intermediaries and the Central Securities Depository management companyQualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Public Relations or Political SciencesExcellent MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skillsKnowledgeable and skilled in web communication tools and social networks, their characteristics and dynamicsStrong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of managing relations with the publicStrong analytical and conceptual skills (identification of key messages)Qualitative and quantitative skills (figures, wording) and good reporting skillsProven experience in managing multiple projects, in event management and meeting tight deadlinesAnalytical, results-driven with attention to detailGood presentation and communication skillsProactive and goal-oriented; strong personal motivation and autonomyInternationally oriented, mindful of cultural differencesCompanyGenerali Group – Head Office is the guiding unit of the Generali Group, a global insurance and asset management provider established in 1831.
