Product Engineer – Wabtec Corporation – Cagliari, Sardegna, Italy Poli Srl, Wabtec di Camisano (CR) specializes in the production of braking discs, calipers and electromagnetic brake clutches. The Product Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager within the Product Engineering team. Responsibilities Design and development of the Electromagnetic Brake Clutch (MTB). Analyze project requirements, adjust parameters and develop conceptual mechanical system layouts. Execute calculations and analyses, prepare reports and present results. Propose design solutions to meet product specifications while optimizing design time and cost. Prepare project documentation (drawings, BOMs) and interface with suppliers to optimize solutions or identify new components. Maintain constant interface with RAMS, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Commercial. Analyze test specifications, prepare system tests and documentation, tests, monitor tests and analyze results, write reports. Interface with the technical laboratory and support non‑conformity project activities. Continuous update on project progress and manage R&D projects as Project Engineer. Analyze problems and study solutions; install and supervise mechanical systems (commissioning). Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. +4 years of technical experience in a manufacturing company. Excellent command of English. Knowledge of CATIA software. Strong organization, attention to detail and precision. Proactive, curious, enterprising and collaborative inter‑functional attitude. Benefits Permanent contract, CCNL Metalmeccanico.
