Data Center Project Manager II, Critical Projects Implementation Job ID: | Amazon Data Services, Inc. Amazon Web Services (AWS) supports and operates global cloud infrastructure. The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activities within operational data center spaces, optimizing space, power, and cooling utilization worldwide. Responsibilities Lead project oversight of electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines for data center improvement projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across AWS to design, build, and operate Amazon data center facilities. Identify opportunities for improvement, review data from other teams, and act on insights. Ensure project execution aligns with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Basic Qualifications 5+ years managing projects in data centers or critical infrastructure with 24/7 emergency backup systems. 5+ years experience in construction or project management. On-site construction trades experience in mechanical, electrical, general vendor management. Preferred Qualifications BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar technical focus. 5+ years experience in power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems. Demonstrated ability to discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and evaluate new ideas with stakeholders. Fast-paced dynamic environment delivery experience. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
