Your Role and Responsibilities You will develop embedded software for Energy Distribution products and shall be able to properly translate requirements into high-quality efficient code according to the development process using a team-centered approach with Agile methodology, applying the best software practices which includes architecture design, version control, code reviews, static analysis and unit tests. You will act as a Firmware Developer for Energy Distribution products line within Smart Building Division, who will join the Global R&D Electronic Firmware Team. In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Designing and implementing embedded software solutions in C/C++, including architecture definition, code reviews, static analysis, and unit testing to ensure quality and reliability. Analyzing electronic schematics and testing products, validating functionality and performance in real conditions. Managing and maintaining the product backlog while cooperating within the Agile framework to align priorities and deliverables. Contributing constructively to team activities, sharing technical and scientific knowledge, and supporting colleagues in applying processes, standards, and tools. Qualifications for the Role Bachelor or Master in Engineering Electronics/Computer/Software Domains. Proven experience with embedded C/C++ programming. More than 5 years of experience with development of software for embedded systems. Knowledge in MCU architectures such as ARM Cortex-M, and basic MCU peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C and ADC. Knowledge in object-oriented programming. Experience with industrial protocols such as Modbus serial, Ethernet and TCP/IP, with HMI design, code debugging/bug fixing. Knowledge in analog signal processing algorithms with ADC/DAC, in C# and/or Python language, knowledge with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU. Experience with basic electronic laboratory instrumentation such as multimeters, oscilloscope and power supply, with Git version control and with static analysis and unit test.
