Join us in transforming how Amazon handles payments across Latin America The LATAM Partner Management team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our payment performance initiatives for credit card payments. This role is critical in driving the success of Amazon's payment processing capabilities in LATAM, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and strategic partnerships.Key Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Drive end-to-end program management for card network partnerships, including implementation, monitoring, and optimization of performance metricsLead cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and Partnership teams to enhance reliability and operational efficiencyOwn incident management processes and partner communications, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business impactDevelop and maintain executive-level relationships with key partners, facilitating strategic alignment between Amazon leadership and partner stakeholdersIdentify and implement scalable solutions to streamline operations and enhance partnership effectivenessAnalyze operational data to drive insights and inform strategic decision-makingAbout the TeamYou’ll join a dynamic team responsible for Amazon’s payment capabilities across Latin America. We focus on delivering friction‑less payment experiences while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency. This role offers significant visibility and impact potential within one of Amazon’s fastest‑growing regions.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in payments/financial servicesDemonstrated experience in managing complex, cross‑functional programs with multiple stakeholdersStrong understanding of payment ecosystems, particularly credit card payment methods and processingProven track record of analyzing performance metrics and implementing data‑driven improvementsExcellent stakeholder management skills, with experience managing both internal and external relationshipsStrong business judgment and ability to make strategic trade‑offsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage at all levelsPreferred QualificationsBasic to intermediate SQL proficiencyDeep knowledge of card network (Visa, Mastercard) operations and international payment transactionsExperience working in acquirer, fintech, or scale‑up environmentsMBA or relevant advanced degreeExperience working in payments industry in LATAM or any emerging market.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
