Ready for your calling? This specialist equipment manufacturer is searching for a well-rounded Service Engineer / Service Technician to join their team. (Equipment training provided). About the Company This leading automation manufacturer has grown 20% over the past 12 months and, in line with the acquisition of new customers and market demand for their equipment, they have ambitious plans to expand their support function across Europe. Operating in rapidly expanding markets such as pharmaceuticals, they are recognised for offering some of the industry's most advanced equipment. They pride themselves on detailed attention to customer needs and dedication to the highest standards of performance and quality. Responsibilities Operate in an 80% mechanical and 20% electrical role. Work within a service engineering team supporting pharmaceutical manufacturers across Italy. Attend a low number of customer calls as each case can be extremely complicated and time consuming. On rare occasions operate as part of an installation team to complete new equipment installations, commissioning and user training. Support customers outside of Italy should an emergency occur requiring your support. Work to preventative maintenance and installation work which is often booked 2-3 months in advance, whilst also reacting to more pressing breakdowns and repairs. Work with the engineering planner to coordinate activities and movements. Conduct routine service and calibration work, alongside more reactive maintenance, including fault finding, problem resolution and repair. Complete service visit reports. Qualifications At least 2+ years of service engineering / technician experience, gained working on complex pharmaceutical automation equipment (robotics, conveyors, pick/place or other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment). Advanced level English and a good level of Italian; multiskilled with a mechanical focus. Willingness to travel and be away from home when needed. Degree level education is beneficial but not essential; experience in a cleanroom or sterile environment is also advantageous. Essential to have a logical and methodical approach to fault finding and travel readiness. Valid local driving licence and the right to work in Italy. Sponsorship is not offered. Benefits & Details Salary: €40K - €48K Basic (dependent on experience); €15-20K Overtime paid at 1.5x; annual 1 Month Bonus; €600 Vacation Pay. Performance Bonus.
