Eurovision Italy (EI), the Italian subsidiary of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), is looking for an Event Producer.ABOUT THE EBUThe European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is the world’s leading alliance of public service media, representing over 100 media organisations worldwide. Through its subsidiary Eurovision Italy, the EBU delivers high-impact broadcast, news and event production services in Italy, Vatican City and across Europe, supporting major international media and institutional eventsEurovision Italy plays a key operational role within the EBU producing strategic in-person, hybrid and virtual events for internal and external stakeholders.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITIONReporting to the Event Production Lead, the Event Producer contributes to the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of events. Key responsibilities include:Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of in-person, hybrid and virtual eventsAssisting with logistics, technical requirements, timelines, supplier coordination and documentationProviding hands‑on support during live productions, including technical setup, rehearsals and on‑site operationsSupporting the integration of multimedia content (video, slides, streaming assets)Contributing to the implementation of new tools, workflows and event technologiesSupporting event communications, invitations and stakeholder coordinationParticipating in post‑event debriefs, reporting and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth execution and high‑quality outcomesYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years’ experience in event coordination, event production or multimedia (internships and freelance experience considered)Familiarity with live, hybrid and virtual event formatsBasic understanding of multimedia production (video, audio, lighting and digital workflows)Strong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environmentProactive, hands‑on mindset with a willingness to learn and adaptComfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, including occasional long or irregular hours during eventsLANGUAGE – EDUCATION – ADDED VALUELanguages:English: ProficientItalian: ProficientAdded value:Digital mindset and curiosity for innovative event technologiesExperience supporting international or high‑profile eventsExposure to broadcast or media‑related environmentsONCE ON BOARD YOU WILLBe part of an outstanding, diverse and inclusive international teamWork on high‑visibility events with global reach and impactCollaborate with experienced professionals across media, technology and communicationsDevelop your skills in a dynamic, fast‑evolving event production environmentContribute to events that support public service media and international collaboration.ABOUT THE EBUDiscover more about the EBU at INFORMATIONMore information about the role is available : Job description Event Producer.We will not accept applications after the closing date, and only candidates meeting the requirements will be contacted.
