We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer . As Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will join our Department of SMAUT, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting activities such as: Preparing instrumentation elements (tagged items and bulk material), quantities for cost and erection works estimates. Defining engineering design basis and guidelines. Preparing instrumentation technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications and drawings, BOQs, and MTOs. Preparing technical documentation for instrumentation material and services requisitions and conducting technical evaluations as per internal procedures. Participating in P&ID mechanization. Validating vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations, measurement elements sizing calculations. Ensuring instrumentation 3D modeling design activities. Reviewing client technical documentation and requirements. Coordinating subcontracted engineering activities and controlling subcontracted engineering documents. Optimizing instrumentation design for minimal cost and complexity, ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements. Performing site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases. Requirements: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in similar positions with international main contracting and engineering companies. Technical skills include: Developing technical specifications, datasheets, and installation designs for various instruments/analyzers/bulk materials independently. Interfacing independently with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to identify optimized solutions. Finalizing technical evaluations for purchases. Solve interdisciplinary issues during project activities. English knowledge: B2/C1. Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and team. Sede: Milano HO. Available for international assignments when necessary. Contract Type: Permanent, salary package commensurate with experience.
