Responsibilities Supporting the conceptual design of steam turbine and axial expanders to enable customer technical proposals. Leading the design of new steam turbine and axial expander machines into the design system, responsible for integrating all components selected and designed to fulfill customer specifications. Implementing all possible turbine configurations in the design system to be properly and effectively designed and assessed according to internal processes. Defining required 3D models, drafting and Bill of materials by managing external resources. Executing specific design or analysis tasks on Customer or New Product Development projects using sound engineering principles and specific process procedures. Supporting supply chain during execution phase. Supporting commissioning phase to manage site erection and machine start‑up. Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience gained working in Engineering/Technology and/or additional experience in Mechanical Components. Strong experience in Steam Turbine or Gas Turbine or Rotating Equipment with Design experience. Clear thinker: Make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information. Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams within a matrix environment. Ability to show good problem‑solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills. Fluent both in English and Italian and hold an EU work permit.
