Layout & Piping Junior Engineer – High School Graduate Maire S.p.A. – a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, leading an engineering Group operating in around 50 countries with approximately 50 active companies. It develops and implements innovative technologies supporting the energy transition and offers Sustainable Technology Solutions and Integrated E&C Solutions for fertilizers, hydrogen, CO₂ capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers – is seeking a Layout & Piping Junior Engineer to join Tecnimont S.p.A., within the Layout & Piping function. Role Description The Layout & Piping Junior Engineer will join the Layout & Piping Department within the Engineering, Technology & Research and Development Division. Based on organizational needs and the candidate’s skills, the role may be assigned to one of the following specialized areas: Stress Analysis & Supports Thermal Insulation The resource will work under the supervision of the Group Leader or a Specialist, contributing to technical activities in compliance with company codes, standards, and procedures. Key activities and responsibilities Stress Analysis & Supports Preliminary drafting of the Stress Analysis Specification; Preliminary preparation of the Support Specification; Preparation of Supply Specifications and related data sheets; Modeling and mechanical verification of critical lines according to technical codes and project requirements; Filing and management of technical documentation following internal procedures; Support in the technical evaluation of vendor offers related to Stress & Support components. Thermal Insulation Development of hot and cold insulation specifications for piping and equipment; Calculation of required insulation thicknesses; Preparation of technical tabulations for insulation materials; Estimation of insulation quantities for procurement and installation; Support in material management and quantity analysis activities. Qualifications & Skills High School Technical Diploma (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Energy, Construction, Environment and Territory); Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Familiarity with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD); Basic knowledge of English; Availability for business travel; Strong motivation to grow in the engineering field and interest in technical disciplines such as piping, materials, and mechanical analysis.
