Join us and help shape the future of the IT industry through responsible and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence.Key job responsibilitiesSales & Revenue ContributionSupport the achievement of sales targets by developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline and guiding customers through end‑to‑end sales cycles, from discovery through to agreement.Create thoughtful account plans and territory strategies in partnership with internal teams, while maintaining accurate forecasting using CRM tools.Collaborate with customers to identify and qualify high‑impact AI use cases aligned to their business priorities and strategic objectives.Technical Sales & Solution AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor on AWS GenAI and Agentic AI services, helping customers understand potential outcomes, value, and return on investment.Lead technical discovery sessions and contribute to demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution design, including model selection, fine‑tuning, and deployment approaches.Provide guidance on model evaluation, responsible AI practices, governance considerations, and relevant compliance requirements.Customer Engagement & Market DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and executive stakeholders through a consultative, collaborative approach.Partner with internal teams to deliver workshops, enablement sessions, and solution reviews that support customer learning and adoption.Share customer insights and feedback with AWS AI product teams to help inform product direction and improvements.About the teamAWS values diverse experiences. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.Basic Qualifications7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments.Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s business.Ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and in a matrix organization.Proven track record in engaging with C‑Suite contacts and communicating with impact towards agreed project outcomes.Proven track record of successful engagements with customers in Australia & New Zealand.Preferred QualificationsTrack record of success driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies within Enterprise accounts.Track record of consistent territory growth and sales quota attainment.Country AcknowledgementIn the spirit of reconciliation, Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community.
