The RME Co‑ordinator will work with service technicians, design solutions for complex problems, manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines. The role involves developing plans to achieve departmental and distribution goals.Key job responsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanicalDevelop training plans for service techniciansDevelop preventive maintenance programsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materialsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components – photoeyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encodersDevelop PLC programs and troubleshoot ladder logic (read use for troubleshooting), components (CPU back plains, I/O boards, counters, modules, and devices) and communications modules (Ethernet)Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance, and directing them to achieve their goalsDevelop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organizationProvide enriched feedback to enhance individual performanceRaise purchase requisition and coordinate with vendors to execute work at sitesEnsure proper documentation and maintain records at sitesAbout the teamTo be the most innovative and agile team that sets benchmarks for safety, reliability, and maintenance engineering, is recognized for sustainability initiatives, YoY cost optimization, and people inclusivity with the North Star goal of being BAA in RME across geographies by 2030.Basic QualificationsExperience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and ControlsPreferred Qualifications1+ year of conveyor/automation/control systems maintenance experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
