The group operates in countries such as Germany, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, with its headquarters in Vienna.Since early 2022, viridiusLAB AG has expanded and currently employs around 950 people across Europe.We are developing a modern, web-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that supports laboratories in digitizing and streamlining their processes.Our LIMS is used in highly regulated environments and is continuously evolving to meet complex customer needs.We are now looking for a skilled Lead Developer to take technical ownership for our team of 6 developers and help shape our platform.Are you ready to lead our LIMS system into the future?Tasks As a mentor to the team of developers, you will provide guidance and support to foster their professional growth and ensure successful project outcomes.You will design and implement new features across the full stack, utilizing .NET Core, C#, and Blazor to deliver robust solutions.Translating business and domain-specific requirements into robust and maintainable technical solutions will be one of your key responsibilities.You will drive important architecture decisions and lead system modernization efforts to ensure our platforms remain current and effective.By conducting code reviews and establishing guidelines and best practices, you will help maintain high standards of code quality within the team.Close collaboration with product management and domain experts will be essential to align technical solutions with business goals.Additionally, you should be available to travel from time to time to meet with our clients within Europe.Requirements Technical Skills Strong experience with .NET Core and modern C# developmentSolid understanding of scalable and modular system designHands-on experience with Blazor or comparable frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React)Proficiency with Entity Framework and database integrationFamiliarity with UI libraries such as DevExpress, Bootstrap, or TailwindExperience with .NET Framework (4.8) is a plusWork Experience & Leadership Proven track record in building and shipping production-grade applicationsExperience leading technical transitions or legacy-to-modern migrations is an advantageAbility to set technical direction and take ownership of architectural decisionsExperience mentoring and guiding team membersSoft Skills Independent, solution-oriented, and structured approach to workStrong communication skillsFluency in Italian and English is requiredBenefits You will play a meaningful role in the development of a highly specialized LIMS product, contributing directly to its success and evolution.You will work within a collaborative, tech-driven team that values an open and supportive culture.The position offers you the freedom to shape processes and make important technical decisions, allowing you to have a tangible impact on the way we work.You will benefit from flat hierarchies and short communication paths, making it easy to share ideas and implement changes quickly.Additionally, you will have opportunities for growth and continued learning in a start-up company that is backed by solid funding.Interested?
