Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business at the forefront of cloud computing. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders and provides support to the AWS Specialists & Partners team. The associate will draft, negotiate, and advise on strategic contracts and initiatives with customers and partners, ranging from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic agreements. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on AWS customer and partner contracts and initiatives. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad assortment of transactions, including standard and high-value strategic agreements. Collaborate within a large legal team while maintaining the ability to work independently. Prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of legal experience. Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience combining corporate law firm and in‑house work. Managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Equities, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
