The Role As part of the Database Administration team at Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services, you will manage and administer the core of our technological infrastructure. You will be responsible for configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems, ensuring peak performance, safeguarding data through robust security, and developing comprehensive backup and recovery plans. You will support end‑user and application developer needs, implement security and data protection policies, conduct capacity planning, and coordinate database project plans with cross‑functional teams to deliver world‑class services. Responsibilities Configure, install, and maintain Oracle relational databases. Manage user access and implement high‑standard security measures. Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup and recovery plans. Support end users and application developers with complex database issues. Implement data protection policies and procedures. Conduct capacity planning and growth projections. Coordinate systematic database project plans in alignment with organizational goals. Propose and implement performance and reliability enhancements. Who You Are Experience in database administration (2–5 years) is required. You possess strong Oracle skills, as well as a solid understanding of operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
