Wine Sales Director

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage new sales strategies to achieve rapid sales growth
  • Develop creative sales approaches to meet evolving market demands
  • Manage the network of importers and distributors; build strong distributor relationships and explore new opportunities; revamp distributor partnerships and explore alternative distribution strategies
  • Ensure that the stated goals, for both domestic and international markets are achieved
  • Provide detailed performance reports to the Board
  • Inspire and motivate the Sales Team

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales in the wine industry – 5+ years experience
  • Proficiency in English and Italian. Fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in managing people
  • Experience in reporting and analytics
  • A very good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP systems
  • Positivity, strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, good organization, problem solving attitude are key factors.

The Company offers full-time permanent contract, good working atmosphere in international environment, annual salary increase programme based on objective measurement tools, annual profit-sharing, international travels.
