Senior Product Manager, Amazon Leo, Europe Consumer

OverviewAmazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Amazon Leo Europe Consumer team is looking for a Senior Product Manager responsible for defining regional business requirements and customer experiences. You will have a high degree of ownership in defining customer needs, launching new features, and shaping customer experiences. You will work closely with GTM, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Global Planning and Operations, Customer Service, Field Services, and more. A successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, highly analytical, and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization. We are looking for someone customer-obsessed and technology-savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer-related products. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, while optimizing for the ideal customer experience and balancing business financials.Key responsibilitiesShape the end-to-end customer journey to meet local customer preferences and regulatory requirementsConceptualize, develop, and launch new products, features, and functionality that delights consumers in EuropeAnalyze customer pain points once operational and continue to improve the customer experienceDeliver comprehensive written product strategy documents considering different data types and inputs across stakeholders to justify new featuresPrepare detailed business requirements documents that can be translated into product and engineering deliverablesPartner with business, finance, legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory to drive new features and functionality from concept to executionExport control noticeThis position may require access to information technology or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on nationality, citizenship, and applicable export control regulations.QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalentExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience as a product manager or ownerExperience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technologyExperience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insightsExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersAdditional informationAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
