International Sales Director | Copper & Copper Alloy | Interesting €€€ PackageOur Client for this project is one of the world's largest manufacturer of copper and copper alloy products, and reporting to the Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer of the Group as Sales Director – Copper Tubes you will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for the copper tube product line within the plumbing and HVAC sectors. The role aims to strengthen the company’s presence across European and North African markets, with an initial focus on business development in Germany. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, drive operational efficiency, and ensure a consistent customer experience globally.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the commercial strategy for the copper tube product range in line with the company’s growth and profitability objectives.Lead business development activities in international markets, with a primary focus on the German market, driving customer acquisition and the expansion of existing distribution channels.Manage and coordinate the international sales network, including distributors, agents, and key accounts.Analyze target markets (Europe and North Africa), identifying new business opportunities and potential strategic partnerships.Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events within the plumbing and HVAC sectors.Oversee daily operations of the Sales department, ensuring a high level of service delivery.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in Sales operations.Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.What We Are Looking ForUniversity (Bachelor’s) degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Proven experience in a Senior Sales leadership role within a multinational company.Desiderable direct experience in the plumbing/HVAC market, preferably within the copper tube or multilayer pipe industry for hydronic and plumbing applications.Strong knowledge and direct experience of the German market, including its commercial dynamics and key players.Proven ability to operate effectively in international contexts, particularly across Europe and North Africa.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment.Excellent knowledge of English, German and Italian languages in mandatory, other European languages is an advantage
